Everyday Evangelism

To be involved in the Kingdom of God, we must do Kingdom work.
To be effective in the Kingdom, we need the proper view of these two things:

  1. COMPASSION - God is all about the heart (Matthew 9:36)

  2. The COMMISSION - God brings purpose in life (Matthew 28:18-20)
- How do we see this lived out in the New Testament Church?
- What can we expect?

Three things that will show up while being at work in the Kingdom:

  1. TENSION

  2. TURNING

  3. TRANSFORMATION

  1. What are some ways that you have failed trust in the power of the Holy Spirit and quench His promptings instead of following them? What are some steps we can take in order to start obeying the Holy Spirit and allow Him to lead and guide us daily?
     
  2. What are some ways you can faithful in your context to share the gospel and make disciples? Discusses people in your lives that you feel that God is leading you to share Jesus with and how you can be faithful to this prompting this week.

Excuses why I don’t share the Gospel with people:

  1. "That's not my GIFT."

  2. "Preacher's JOB."

  3. "I don't know what to SAY to people"

  4. "What if they ask hard QUESTIONS?"

  5. "Don't want to OFFEND anyone."

Why we share the Good News with Boldness...

  1. Because I am CONTROLLED by the LOVE of Christ (2 Cor 5:14-15)

    2. What moves you?

  2. Because people are ETERNAL beings (2 Cor 5:16)

  3. Because the gospel has CHANGED me (2 Cor 5:16, 21)

  4. Because this assignment is directly FROM GOD (2 Cor 5:18-20)

    1. As a MINISTER: This is God's Work! (2 Cor 5:18)

    2. As a STEWARD: This is God's Word! (2 Cor 5:19)

    3. As a REPRESENTATIVE: This is God's Passion (2 Cor 5:20)
