Sin Brought Curses from God (Gen 3:14-19):

  1. To the Serpent:
    • ”eat dust”
    • enmity
    • he will bruise your head / you will bruise his heel

  2. To the Woman:
    • pain in childbearing
    • desire shall be for your husband

  3. To the Man:
    • cursed is the ground
    • thorns / thistles / sweat

Sin Brought Exile from Eden (Gen 3:22-24):


Sin Brought the Introduction of Salvation (Gen 3:20-21):

  • Man’s part: Faith
  • God’s part: Grace

Though sinned against, God initiated His grace by killing an innocent substitute, which provided a permanent covering of their shame, accomplishing what man could not.
