When people talk about becoming or accomplishing something important, they often say that "it doesn't happen overnight".

Well, I can attest that with parenting, it DOES in fact happen over night. You drive to the hospital in the evening while your beautiful wife is in labor and by God's grace, you have a healthy baby in the morning. #instantparent

But there is a huge difference between "becoming a parent" and "parenting". Anyone can become a parent, even when not intended. But to actually "parent" a child to adulthood - investing in, pouring into, teaching, discipling, disciplining... that is what parenting is. So to be clear, we are calling it "Parenting on Purpose". 

God calls us to parent on purpose and with a purpose - to seek Him with all of our heart and guide these little ones under our care to put their hope, fear, and trust on Him.
