In Pittsburgh, we don't talk about "football" in generic terms. We talk about THE TEAM (you know who). Same with hockey. We don't talk about the NHL - we talk about THE TEAM (you know who). This is also true of baseball - it's not about the "sport" in general as much as it is about THE TEAM (you know who).
This Sunday is week 2 of Parenting On Purpose. And we will not be speaking in generic terms. We will get real specific as we talk about THE TEAM (you know who). Mom and Dad need to be a unified team, playing their respective positions on the field... I mean, carrying out their respective God-given roles. We all need some coaching to be better players. Let's let the Word give us some solid strategy.
Join us. Invite someone you know who needs God's playbook for parenting.
OK. Enough sports analogies/metaphors/similes. :)
